In the Class 6 District 1 tournament May 15-18, the junior leadoff batter energized a Jaguar offense that scored 39 runs in three games, powering Seckman to its first district championship since 2013. In wins over Poplar Bluff (13-6), Oakville (14-5) and Fox (12-8 in the final), Bradford had seven hits in nine at-bats, including three home runs and two doubles, and drove in four runs. He led off each of the first two games with a homer. Seckman (20-11-1) plays at Lafayette (23-12) on Saturday in the state quarterfinals.
