Johnson, 12, trains with his siblings under the direction of their mother, Christina, at their Festus studio. He’s a red belt, and competes between 81.7-99.2 pounds. Johnson has won state titles here, in Illinois, Michigan, Iowa, Kentucky and Indiana. He is the 2026 AAU national champion, and has been nominated by AAU for the Kick of the Year. Johnson will compete in the Jr. Olympics in Des Moines, Iowa on Aug. 2.
