The senior harrier won her first Jefferson County Activities Association girls cross country championship on Saturday, clocking 20:14.55 on the 5-kilometer course at Larry G. Crites Memorial Park in Festus. Eimer is a three-time Class 2 state qualifier and captured her first state medal in 2019 at Gans Creek Course in Columbia by finishing 22nd in 20:17.5. The JCAA race was her second victory in a row after winning the Potosi Invitational on Oct. 10 in 20:29.27. She set her PR of 19:24.04 at the Stan Nelson Invitational on Sept. 12.
