Battling an injured hamstring, the senior was brought in relief in the third inning of the Class 4 District 2 championship with the Tigers trailing Potosi 5-0. Richeson, who will attend Lindenwood University in St. Charles on a baseball scholarship, held the No. 1 seeded Trojans to two runs over five innings as the Tigers (No. 3) came back twice to beat the Trojans 10-7 and win their first district title since 2012. Richeson also had a solo home run in the game.
