The Jaguars won the Suburban Conference Red pool championship with 147 points at Parkway South on May 4. A senior, Key captured Red pool titles in the 1,600-meter run in 4:31.33 and the 3,200 in 9:51.95. He also ran a leg on the Seckman 4x400-meter relay team that finished fourth in 3:41.52. Key is a two-time Class 5 state qualifier in cross country.
