The freshman from Camdenton played a key role in the Vikings sweeping doubleheaders against Central Methodist University and Mineral Area College in Hillsboro. In a 9-0 win over CMU on March 3, Farris pitched a five-inning no-hitter and struck out nine batters. She also had a two-run double against the Eagles. In Jefferson’s 11-3 victory over MAC on March 5, Farris struck out nine and allowed just one hit to earn her third win of the season. She hit a home run against the Cardinals.
