The freshman pitcher from Troy, Mo. was a two-way threat for the Vikings in their five-inning, 14-0 win over Mineral Area College in Hillsboro on March 2. In the circle, Cook struck out six, allowed one hit and earned the win in three innings of work. At the plate, Cook hit a three-run home run and drew a walk.
