Despite a stiff headwind and temperatures hovering near freezing, the sprinter and past JCAA champion set a meet record of 11.23 seconds in the 100-meter dash Saturday at the Notre Dame Frozen Invitational in Cape Girardeau. Johnson also ran anchor on the Tigers’ winning 4x100 relay team that clocked 45.73 seconds. Festus finished second as a team with 110.5 points, 22.8 behind champion Jackson.
