The St. Joseph Catholic School fifth grader from Arnold won the National Gold BMX championship in 2018. Santamaria has been racing since he was six years old. He won the BMX “Triple Crown” in 2018 with district, state and regional championships. Santamaria represented the U.S. as one of two regional champions last June in Baku, Azerbaijan.
