The twin brothers have been staples in the Rock Memorial lineup for five seasons and this is their last summer with Post 283. The Wards graduated from Windsor in 2021 and have helped Post 283 (4-4) remain competitive within District 13. At a tournament at Murray State University in Kentucky last weekend, in three games Truman, a center fielder and pitcher, was 5-for-11 at the plate, stole three bases, scored three runs and had four RBIs and had a win in relief in the mound against Lexington. Hunter, a catcher and pitcher, was 5-for-9 with three RBIs.
