McCorkell, who will be a senior at Seckman this month, was selected to play in the USA Softball Missouri/Illinois All-Star game between juniors from Missouri and Illinois on July 16 at Saint Louis University. She was named the most valuable player of the game after hitting a grand slam in her team’s 15-2 victory. McCorkell is a member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club, and Letterman’s Club.
