The 2021 Festus High graduate batted .375 and had an on-base percentage of .706 during the District 13 tournament at Yanks Field in Ste. Genevieve. In four games Axtetter, the Post 253 center fielder, scored eight runs, drew five walks and was hit by four pitches. In the district championship game against Ste. Genevieve Post 150 on July 15, he hit a home run and scored twice in the 11-7 loss. In an elimination game the day before against Mineral Area Post 416, Axtetter was hit by three pitches, drew two walks and scored three runs in the 12-2 victory.
