For the second season in a row, the Jaguars won the championship of the Warrior Winter Classic at Valle Catholic in Ste. Genevieve. Seckman beat the host Warriors 70-59 in the final on Dec. 30 and Herget made 9 of 12 shots (75 percent) from the field, leading all scorers with 23 points. It’s the fourth time this season Herget has scored 20 or more points and he leads the Jaguars (5-2) with 17.9 points per game.
