The junior (6-4) forward scored a game-high 25 points to lead the Blue Jays (No. 2 seed) to a 66-52 victory over St. Pius X (No. 1) in the Class 3 District 3 basketball championship on Friday night. It’s the first district title in Jefferson’s history and the first time in three meetings this season the Blue Jays beat the Lancers. Weik averaged 21 points per game in the three contests and averages 18 points per game.
