The junior grappler made school history Saturday at the state wrestling tournament, capturing Windsor’s first individual title in dramatic fashion. He was trailing undefeated Willard senior Nikolas Chavez 4-1 in the third period of their Class 3 145-pound match when he flipped Chavez on his back and pinned him with 52 seconds remaining. Warren finished 44-2.
