The returning two-time all-state senior won the 125-pound weight class at the Fort Zumwalt East Invitational Friday. Mills improved to 13-0 this season, beating Wright City junior Elizabeth Riggs in a 9-1 major decision for the championship. Mills won all three of her other matches at the tournament by pin. She finished third in the state at 130 last season after qualifying for state in 2021. Festus finished 13th at Fort Zumwalt East with 65 points. Marquette won the tournament with 198.
