An Arnold native and 2012 Fox High graduate, Blanton ran on Central Methodist University’s 4x100 meter relay team this spring. The quartet took first place at the Heart of America Athletic Conference meet and later qualified for the finals at the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) meet, placing eighth and earning Blanton and his relay mates NAIA all-American recognition. Their clocking of 41.22 to qualify for the national finals also broke the school record.
