The senior captured his third Jefferson County Activities Association golf championship on April 25 when he shot a 7-over-par 79 at the Ste. Genevieve Golf Club. Hammond, the JCAA champion in 2015-2016, birdied the first hole and was 1-over-par at the turn during the conference championships. Hammond made his first hole-in-one at Raintree Country Club on March 21 and has qualified for the Class 3 state tournament twice.
