Yeager, Zuelah

Zuelah Yeager, 87, of Imperial, formerly of Horine, died Dec. 17, 2021, at her home. Mrs. Yeager worked at Federal Intermediate Credit Bank in St Louis as a secretary for several years, then spent many years as a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and loved keeping up with friends and family on Facebook. Born Jan. 17, 1934, in Bonne Terre, she was the daughter of the late Elza Eugene and Laurie (Crocker) Myers. She was preceded in death in 1972 by her first husband: Jimmie Lee Beaver; and in 1999 by her second husband: Crawford “Barney” Yeager.

She is survived by a son: James Eugene (Penny) Beaver of Georgetown, Texas; a stepdaughter: Karen Sue Yeager of St. Louis; three grandchildren: Danny (Susan) Beaver, Amie (Jim) Smith and Lindsey (Moises) Monroy; five great-grandchildren: Cyan, Calista and Cael Beaver and Elisa and Silvia Monroy; her nieces and nephews: Dennis (Donna) Kohut, Brenda Estes, Karen (Daniel) Godbey, Dale (Shelly) Jarvis, Jan (Patrick) McElyea, Pam (Nations) Gibbons and Joey Nations, as well as several great-nieces and -nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter:  Katherine Dean (Beaver) Stewart.

Graveside services were held Dec. 21 at Sandy Creek Baptist Cemetery Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements were under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home in Arnold.
