William Lloyd Nausley, 83, of Festus died Feb. 5, 2017, at Festus Manor Care Center. Mr. Nausley was the owner and operator of William Nausley Plumbing and a member of Faith Baptist Church in Festus. He was a 57-year member of Shekinah Masonic Lodge 256 and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Pomegranate Chapter 397. Born Aug. 9, 1933, in Jackson County, Ill., he was the son of the late Rosa (Weatherford) and Floyd Nausley.
He is survived by his wife: Mary L. (Fults) Nausley; four sons: William (Beverly) Nausley of Pevely, Larry (Melody) Nausley of Festus, Dan (Lisa) Nausley of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Jason Nausley of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; two sisters-in-law: Betty J. Nausley of Festus and Pat Nausley of Park Hills; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter: Denise Lynn Nausley; and three brothers: Joseph H. Nausley, Tom (Linda) Nausley and Charles “Henry” Nausley.
Visitation is at 4 p.m. and a funeral service is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main, in Festus, officiated by Brother Matt Culbertson. Burial will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to Shriners Hospital for Children. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
