William H. Griffith, 78, of House Springs died Jan. 4, 2017, in St. Louis. Mr. Griffith was a warehouse manager for AT&T. Born Jan. 27, 1938, in Rector, he was the son of the late John Henry and Helen (Copeland) Griffith.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years: Dorma (McConnell) Griffith; two sons: Kenneth D. (Tammie) Griffith and Keith A. (Monica) Griffith; a daughter: Pam G. (Rick) Martin; a brother: Paul (Betty) Griffith; two sisters-in-law: Kathryn Moon and Esther McConnell; seven grandchildren: Matthew, Mandy, Brady, William, Brandi, Willow and Winston; and three great-grandchildren: Lauren, Lindsay and Brynlee.
He was preceded in death by three siblings-in-law: Junior Lee McConnell, Chester Joe (Jean) McConnell and Wanda Jean Bobbitt.
A funeral service was held Jan. 6 at Faith Community Church in House Springs. Memorials may be made to Teen Challenge of St. Louis. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel in St. Louis County.
