William D. “Animal” Shiverdeck, 69, of Imperial died Dec. 10, 2014, at St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County. Mr. Shiverdeck was a truck driver for Parrish Trucking, and an Army veteran. Born Dec. 1, 1945, in Grassy, he was the son of the late James Abner and Winnie Talley Shiverdeck.
He is survived by a son: Jim (Kate) Shiverdeck of Festus; four brothers: Joe Shiverdeck of Iberia, Leland Shiverdeck of Grassy, Charles Shiverdeck of Festus and Carl Shiverdeck of Waterloo, Ill.; a sister: Nina Eichelberger of Lemay; and two grandchildren: Caden and Anna Shiverdeck.
He was preceded in death by a brother: George Shiverdeck; and a sister: Ruth Barnes.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 15, at Liley Funeral Home, 410 Union St., in Marble Hill, with the Rev. Haynes officiating. Burial will be in the Grassy Friendship Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Liley Funeral Home.
