Wesley James Bolding, 34, of De Soto died Nov. 3, 2018, in De Soto. Mr. Bolding was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Afghanistan, and was a firefighter with the Army Reserves with the 863rd Engineering Battalion in Granite City, Ill. Born March 16, 1984, in New Rhodes, La., he was the son of Pamela A. (Mitchell) and James E. Bolding of Herculaneum.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife: Stacy (Fuller) Bolding; two children: Benjamin “Ben” Bolding and Ava Wagner; a brother: Mitchell (Jennifer) Bolding of Festus; and two sisters: Casey (Drew Eichelberger) Robertson of Festus and Shanda Bolding-Organic of Kingston, Tenn.
Memorial visitation is at 4 p.m. and a funeral service at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus, officiated by Chaplain Caleb Miller. Burial with full military honors is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9, in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to the Bolding Children’s Fund. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
