Wanda Jean LaRose, 82, of Festus died Oct. 13, 2021, at Parkland Medical Center in Farmington. Mrs. LaRose worked as a mail clerk for Pittsburgh Plate Glass and was a member of the Festus/Crystal City Conservation Club. She was born Nov. 23, 1938, in Jefferson County, the daughter of the late Ada Ruth (McKee) and Herman George Hoffman.
She is survived by her husband: Larry James LaRose Sr. of Festus; a son: Larry James (Sharon) LaRose Jr. of Festus; two daughters: Lori Eisenbeis of Festus and Lisa J. LaRose of Festus; three sisters: Erma Hoffman of Festus, Judy (the late Paul) Carron of Florida and Loretta (Michael) Shultz of Horine; six grandchildren: Brandi McCoy, Dana LaRose, Larry LaRose III, Cameron Eisenbeis, Connor (Jamie Nicole) Eisenbeis and RJ Landers; three great-grandchildren: Hayden McCoy, Lucas Johnson and Charlotte Eisenbeis; special niece Heidi (Randal) Landers of Festus; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until a funeral service at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus, officiated by Pastor Tish Green. Burial is in the Hematite Methodist Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
