Walter Schuette, 85, of Arnold died March 15, 2015, at St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis County. Mr. Schuette worked for the U.S. Postal Service and was a member of First Baptist Church of Arnold. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He was born Aug. 28, 1929, in Gordonville.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years: Wanda (Ludwig) Schuette of Arnold; two children: Jim (Vicki) Schuette and Rhonda (Scott) Walker; one sibling; five grandchildren: Christopher (Danielle) Schuette of Waynesville, Ohio, Michael Schuette of Kansas City, Kan., Brandon Schuette of Gordonville, Dan (fiancee Amanda) Walker of St. Louis and Molly (Keaton) Droney of St. Louis; and two great-grandchindren: Allison and Levi Schuette of Waynesville, Ohio.
Funeral service was held March 18 at First Baptist Church of Arnold, officiated by Pastor Kenny Qualls. Burial was in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Arnold Worship (Music) Ministry. Arrangements were under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home in St. Louis County.
