Vivian “Sue” Farris, 79, of Pevely died March 6, 2022, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County. Mrs. Farris was a member of Grace Free Will Baptist Church. She worked for Sigma-Aldrich as an administrative assistant for 31 years. She enjoyed going out to dinners especially at Miss Sheri’s Cafeteria, and spending time with family and friends. Born Nov. 20, 1942, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Ruby (Garrett) and Oswald Baumbach.
She is survived by a daughter: Tina (Thomas) Martin of Festus; three sons: Todd Farris of Festus, Timothy (Jennifer) Farris of Imperial, Thomas (Kim) Farris of Farmington; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Floyd (the late Ruthy) Baumbach and Lowell (Louise survives of Japan, Mo.) Baumbach.
A memorial will be held at a later date at Grace Free Will Baptist Church. Arrangements were under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
