Urina Catherine Riney, 87, of Kirkwood died Oct. 30, 2017, in Kirkwood. Ms. Riney was a home care worker, a member of Immaculate Conception Church in St. Mary and the American Legion. She enjoyed playing cards and cooking. Born May 10, 1930, in St. Mary, she was the daughter of the late Rosie (Joiner) and Urita Riney.
She is survived by two brothers: Earl Riney of Little Rock, Ark., and Edward (Alwilda) Riney of Robertsville; a nephew: Anthony Riney of Little Rock; a niece: Deborah Riney of Little Rock; an uncle: Lester Riney of Layton, Utah; and two special friends: Ryan Lurie of Seattle and Mike Lurie of Portland, Ore.
She was preceded in death by a sister-in-law: Bernadine Riney.
Funeral services were held Nov. 4 at Mahn Twin City Chapel, officiated by Deacon Jerry Stoverink. Burial will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
