Treva M. Meredith, 102, of De Soto died Aug. 4, 2015, in De Soto. Mrs. Meredith was a homemaker and a member of the Beulah United Methodist Church in Gaston, S.C. She was a past member of Bay View Book Club, a life member of Hartford Chapter 518 O.E.S. and a member and past matron of Kinsman Chapter 453 O.E.S. Born Oct 31, 1912, in Newbury, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Sarah Izetta (Clark) Jewel.
She is survived by her husband: Kenneth Robert Meredith; a son: Ramon “Ray” (Mary Ann) Meredith of Richwoods; a daughter-in-law: Joyce Meredith of Lexington, S.C.; a sister-in-law: Ina Jewel of Warren, Ohio; six grandchildren: Teresa Campbell, Jennifer (Rob) Ladage, Brett (Mary) Meredith, Chrystie (Bryan) Singleton, Chad (Jane Ann) Meredith and Alesia (Larry) Shaw; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and two step-great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son: Richard Allen Meredith; and two brothers: Elwyn Jewel and Llewellyn Jewel.
Funeral services were held Aug. 8 at Beulah United Methodist Church. Burial was in the Beulah United Methodist Church Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
