Tony L. Blanchard, 56, of Festus died Jan. 29, 2019, at Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur. Mr. Blanchard was a carpenter. He enjoyed music and playing several instruments, hunting, fishing and his dog, Charlie. Born Jan. 29, 1963, in Kennett, he was the son of Carol (Cowart) Blanchard of Festus and the late Ronnie Blanchard.
He is survived by two sons: Jordan Blanchard of St. Louis and Jarrod (Annie Marie) Pigg of Farmington; a daughter: Megan Pigg of Festus; and a sister: Kristie Street of St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Burliss Blanchard.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, at Mahn Funeral Home, 515 Collins Ave., in Festus, followed immediately by services officiated by the Rev. Randy Gray. Burial will be in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to the music program at Radiant Life Church, 11533 Gamel Cemetery Road, in Festus. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
