Todd S. Thomas, 51, of Festus died Oct. 23, 2020, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Thomas was a security guard. Born May 15, 1969, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Dewey E. and Carolyn M. (Abel) Thomas.
He is survived by four siblings: Christy (Tim Brown) Niemann of Festus, Mark (JoAnn) Thomas of St. Louis, Tracy (Susan) Thomas of Tennessee and Rick (Sharon) Thomas of Victoria; six nieces and nephews: Troy Thomas Jr., Robert (Shery) Lang Sr., James (Amber) Niemann, Sherry Lang, James Medows and David “Bird Medows; two great-nephews: Robert Lang Jr. and Justin Lang Jr.; and several aunts and uncles, including Fred (Debbie) Abel of St. Charles.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Dennis Thomas and Troy Thomas.
A memorial gathering is scheduled for 1 p.m. and a memorial service for 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto, officiated by Barry Lakes. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
