Tina Marie Hites, 66, Festus

Tina Marie Hites, 66, of Festus died June 30, 2022, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. After her children were grown, Mrs. Hites earned a master's degree in behavioral sciences in 2019. She will be remembered for making time for everyone and making them feel special. She loved Christmas and spread holiday joy year-round. Born April 27, 1956, she was the daughter of Norma (Aubuchon) Woodson and the late Alfred Woodson.

She is survived by her husband: Steve Hites, who she met when she was 15 and married when she was 20.

She is also survived by eight children: Tina (Jason) Fish, Crystal (Kevin) Bloodworth, Steven (Cassaundra) Hites, Alexis (Eric) Holland, Stacy (Christopher) Blankenship, John Hites, Kitrina (Brendan) Poplawski and Destiny (Brandon) Barley; and seven grandchildren: Angela and Lynnlee Bloodworth, Alison and Anderson Fish, Melody Blankenship, Georgia Poplawski and Rosie Bailey.
