Timothy P. Speidel, 57, of De Soto died Sept. 6, 2020, at his residence in De Soto. Mr. Speidel was the owner and operator of Speidel Automotive and served in the Missouri National Guard. He was a member and past commander of Amvets Post 48 and a past board member of the De Soto Chamber of Commerce. Born Oct. 18, 1962, in Chicago, Ill., he was the son of David L. and Mary Lou (Villmer) Speidel of De Soto.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife: Deneen (Bequette) Speidel of De Soto; three children: Tim (Erin) Speidel Jr. of Crystal City, Kayla (Mike) Christopher of Festus and Stephanie (Sam II) Pona of De Soto; a sister: Myrna (Lindell) Huskey of Poplar Bluff; his mother-in-law: Rose Bequette of Mountain Home, Ark.; a sister-in-law: Yvonne Baugh of Wentzville; a brother-in-law: Darryl (Kim) Bequette of Potosi; and numerous other family members.
A memorial service will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 680 Craig Road, #300, St. Louis, 63141. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
