Tiffany Nicole “Tia” Jackson, 33, of Crystal City died Jan. 13, 2017, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in southern Jefferson County. Ms. Jackson was an office manager with Central Contracting and attended Faith Church in Sunset Hills. She loved her job; loved her cats, Baby Kittie and Jingles; and liked going to casinos, traveling to Colorado, eating at Taco Bell, chicken wings, beer and football but most of all spending time with her family and friends. Born Sept. 21, 1983, she was the daughter of Tammy (David) Brown of Festus and Rodney Jackson of Festus.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her wife: Melissa Hazelwood of Crystal City; a son: Dylan Richardson of Crystal City; a brother: Joshua (Lauren) Jackson of Festus; three sisters: Crystal Hammontree of Festus, Stacey (Asha) Brown of Belize and Lisa (Derek) Brown of Florida; her grandparents: Eunice (the late Floyd) Jackson of Oklahoma and Louis (the late Ella) Johnson of Festus; an aunt and uncle: Rita and Brad Baker of Oklahoma; her parents-in-law: Mary K. and David Hazelwood of Hermann; a brother-in-law: D.J. Hazelwood of Hermann; and six nieces and nephews: Issaac Jackson, Emily Jackson, Chalee Hammontree, Finnly Cook, Tessa Martin and Ashton Martin.

A celebration of life is scheduled from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, at Reflection Arena and Stables, 1500 David Manor, south of Festus, officiated by Pastor Phil Clemens. Memorials may be made to the Mauhaus Cat Cafe, 3101 Sutton Blvd., Maplewood,  63143; or to the Jefferson County Rescue Mission, P.O. Box 210, Pevely, 63070. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
