Thomas W. “Tom” Bilbro, 73, of St. Louis died Sept. 2, 2022, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County. Mr. Bilbro was a district manager for KFC. He loved horses and enjoyed square dancing. Born Dec. 17, 1948, in Birmingham, Ala., he was the son of the late Helen M. (Sharpe) and Marvin E. Bilbro.
He is survived by his wife: Virginia “Ginny” (Lankford) Schevers of St. Louis; three “bonus children:” Ike (Lisa) Schevers of Festus, Julie (Toni Cordevant) Walters of St. Louis and Jean (Danny) Garms of Cuba, Mo.; 10 grandchildren: Bethany, Austin, Sarah, Bailey, Victoria, Brandi, Dale, Elena, Steven and Johnathan; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters: Marvina (Bruce) Johnson and Theresa (the late Kenneth) Welch; many other relatives and friends; and his beloved animals. He was preceded in death by a son: Christopher Noell Bilbro.
Visitation is scheduled from 1 p.m. until a memorial service at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home
