Thomas Lee "Tom" Sievers, 73, of Affton died March 10, 2022, at his home. Mr. Sievers was an over-the-road truck driver and enjoyed flying drones and hang-gliding. A 1967 graduate of Northwest High School, he graduated from Parks College of St. Louis University in 1974. He served two tours in Vietnam as an airframe and power plant technician on the OV-1 Mohawk aircraft. Born Jan. 19, 1949, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Vivian (Brouk) and Elmer Sievers.
He is survived by two brothers: Larry (Shirley) Sievers and James Sievers; four step-siblings: Judy Elises, Linda Long, Mark Goodman and Karen Goodman; an aunt: Gloria Bell; four cousins: Wanda (Jim) Davis, Linda (Rick) Walker, Rick (Mary) Rasch and Randy Rasch; two nieces: Jill and Michelle; a nephew: Mike; and numerous family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by an aunt: Darlene Rasch.
Services will be at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
