Thomas A. Gianino, 66, Festus

Thomas A. Gianino, 66, of Festus died Dec. 25, 2021, in De Soto. Mr. Gianino grew up in St. Louis and went to high school at McBride and Fox before graduating from Hillsboro. He was a decorated Navy Veteran, traveling to Africa, Europe, Asia, and South America. He worked at Boeing and retired as a technician. He was an avid bargain hunter and never passed up a good yard sale. Born May 27, 1955, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Thomas and Sharon (Tipton) Gianino.

He is survived by seven nieces and nephews: Daniel T. (Erica) Gianino, Angela (Joshua) Henry, and Karen, Samuel, Anthony, Joseph and Thomas J Gianino; six great-nieces and great-nephews;

two brothers:, Daniel and John Gianino; a dear friend: Richard (Cindy) Partney of Hillsboro; and many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be at 5 p.m. until the funeral services at 7 p.m. Thursday (Dec. 30) Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Burial will be in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
