Thelma J. Bradford, 77, of Festus died Jan. 29, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Bradford had worked at a shoe factory, at Crystal Donut and Williams Upholstery. She was born March 31, 1940, in De Soto, the daughter of Cecil and Juanita Clara (Williams) Maloney.
She is survived by her husband: Ed Bradford; three children: Tammy (Terry) Pruneau of De Soto, Gail (Brad) Dennis of De Soto and Mike (Connie) Bradford of Hillsboro; two siblings: Carol Hayes of Farmington and Sylvia (Jessie) Guenther of Arnold; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Virginia Bradford; a brother: Cecil Edward Maloney; and two brothers-in-law: Greg Hayes and Pete Bradford.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. today (Feb. 1) at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Jimmy Turner. Burial is in the Bradford Cemetery in Victoria. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
