Taylor Mae Griffin, 16, of Hillsboro died June 30, 2021, in Hillsboro. Ms. Griffin played on several softball teams, including her high school team and the Fury select team. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was active on TikTok. Born Jan. 7, 2005, in Festus, she was the daughter of Jami (Miller) and Robert Griffin.

She is survived by a sister: McKayla Griffin; a brother: Colton Griffin; three grandparents: John (Dianna) Griffin, Elizabeth Miller and James Miller; a great-grandmother: Mae Edwards of Florissant; five aunts and uncles: Tim (Jennifer) Griffin, Cheryl McKenna, Tiffany Root, Jody (Chad) Young and Eric (Rachel) Miller; a great-uncle: Steve Miller; six cousins: Gavin, Logan, Emalee, Landon, Jocelyn and Bryson; and numerous family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by five great-grandparents: Bud Edwards, Gerald (Carole) Sojka, Aaron (Kathryn) Seabaugh, Robert Griffin and Ester Griffin-Boggs.

Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 6, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Hillsboro Softball Dugout Club in care of Lori Wick, 6012 Hwy. B, Hillsboro MO 63050. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
