Sylvie Josiane Dennis, 64, of Festus died May 19, 2022, in Festus. Mrs. Dennis was a legal secretary for Jefferson County Courts. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Crystal City. Born Dec. 18, 1957, in Sarrebourg, France, she was the daughter of Monique M. (Boehm) Hudson of Festus and the late Kenneth A. Hudson Sr.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Lloyd “Edward” Dennis.

She is survived by a brother: Kenneth A. Hudson Jr. of Festus; and three sisters: Renee Hudson of Perryville, Linda Hudson Mineral Point and Denise (Terry) Henson of Festus.

The family will hold private services. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
