Jolly, Steve

Steve T. Jolly, 53, of Cadet died Dec. 21, 2017, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Jolly owned and operated Jolly’s Custom Cuts. He was a lifetime member of 4-H and participated in fairs in Washington, St. Francois and Jefferson Counties. He loved farming, hunting and working at his butcher shop, and enjoyed cooking, frying fish and doing catering jobs. Born April 24, 1964, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Veronica (Nash) and Bernard Jolly Sr. 

He is also survived by two daughters: Stefanie Jolly of Cadet and Cassie (Brandon) Krauss of Festus; an adopted daughter: Shelby (Bill) Dauben of Cadet; a brother: John Jolly Sr. of Potosi; a sister: Glenda Jolly of Columbia; and nine grandchildren: Ethan, Colten, Natalie, Khristina, Brooklyn, Keely, Kielan, Avery and Brayden.

Memorial visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29, at Mahn Funeral home, 900 N. Main, in De Soto. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tiff, officiated by Father Anthony Dattilo. Burial is in the Masonic Cemetery in Blackwell. Memorials may be made to the Washington County 4-H, 113 N. Missouri St., Potosi, 63664. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
