Sonny Ray Hardin, 55, of Macon, formerly of Hillsboro, died May 16, 2019, in Macon. Mr. Hardin was a roofer. Born Jan. 19, 1964, he was the son of the late Geraldine and Harry Pierson.
He is survived by his wife: Jolein (Dayton) Hardin; a daughter: Amber Soloman of Colorado; two brothers: Troy F. Hardin of Hillsboro and Harry Pierson Jr. of Potosi; three sisters: Sandy (Ed) Hulvey of Cherokee Pass, Debbie (Greg) Hulvey of Bonne Terre and Charlotte Burns of De Soto; and 13 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Larry Pierson; and a son: Sonny Ray Hardin Jr.
A celebration of life will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 9, at the Sandy Creek Covered Bridge, 9050 Old Lemay Ferry Road, near Hillsboro.
