Shirley Maxine White, 80, of De Soto died June 17, 2020, in De Soto. Mrs. White enjoyed selling Avon products, gift-giving and spending time with her family. Born Dec. 16, 1939, in Lesterville, she was the daughter of the late Alice (Gowen) and Noble Davis. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years: Thomas White.
She is survived by two daughters: Debbie (Richard) Fitzgerald and Sandra (Joshua) Fuchs; 11 grandchildren: John (Lauri), Wendy, Chris (Tammy), Alicia (Jeremy), Richard (Megan), Brian, Ronson, Joshua, Ella, Nathan and Ian; 18 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by two sons: Glen White and James “Jim” White; and a brother: Glen Davis.
Visitation is scheduled from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, June 21, at Life Fellow Ship Church, 12312 State Rt. 21, in De Soto. Burial will follow in the Charter Church Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
