Shirley Fay Siebert, 86, of Festus died June 23, 2021, at Baisch Nursing Home in De Soto. Mrs. Siebert was a stay-at-home wife and mother and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Crystal City. Born July 26, 1934, in Festus, she was the daughter of the late Guy Billings and Mamie L. (Gray) Nengel. She was preceded in death by her husband: Frank P. Siebert III, who owned Frank's Klip Joint in Crystal City.
She is survived by three children: Frank J. Siebert of Festus, Patti Ann (Dave) Veninga of Pace, Fla., and David W. (Jane) Siebert of Festus; two brothers: Jack (JoAnn) Nengel of Mexico, Mo., and Bill (Cindy) Nengel of Festus; seven grandchildren: Dennis (Erica) Siebert of Crystal City, Danny Siebert of Festus, Christopher Veninga of Pace, Fla., Sidney Siebert of Festus, Sunita Siebert of Festus, Ryan (Sarah) Veninga of Kirkwood and Matt Veninga of Pace, Fla.; seven great-grandchildren: Connor and Blake Siebert, Joey Rosenhoffer, Layne Siebert and Maisy, Adelle and Patrick Veninga; a sister-in-law: Marge Alderson of Festus; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Joseph C. Lewis; two nephews: Ronald Lewis and Gilbert Alderson; her parents-in-law: Bertha and Frank P. Siebert II; a brother-in-law: John “Ed” Alderson; and a sister-in-law: Blanche L. Lewis.
A memorial gathering is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 26, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main, in Festus, officiated by Dan Nicholson. Burial is in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
