Shirley Ann Thomure, 86, of Festus died Nov. 2, 2022, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Ms. Thomure was born Dec. 20, 1935, in Festus, the daughter of the late Dorothy (Kuester) and James Hendrix.
She is survived by a daughter: Sandra Parks of Festus; a son: Heath (Stephanie) Thomure of Fulton; three grandchildren: Dana (Dillon) Campbell, Eric Parks, Stephen Thomure; and a great-granddaughter: Emerie Campbell. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Raymond H. (Barbara Jean survives) Hendrix and Richard “Dick” (the late Sunny) Hendrix.
Funeral services and burial were private. Arrangements were under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
