Shirley Ann Biere, 90, of Crystal City, formerly of Salisbury, died Nov. 16, 2020. Mrs. Biere was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Crystal City and the Eastern Star. She enjoyed sewing and knitting. Born Nov. 26, 1929, in Hannibal, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Elizabeth (Clayton) Spotts. She was preceded in death by her husband: Edgar William Biere, whom she married on Sept. 5, 1948, in Slater.
She is survived by a daughter: Debra Biere of Barnhart. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Finley and David Spotts.
A graveside service was held Nov. 20 at the East Lawn Cemetery in Salisbury. Memorials may be made to the Salisbury United Methodist Church or the Salvation Army. Arrangements are under the direction of Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury.
