Scott Eric Elliott, 57, of Richwoods, formerly of Festus, died Sept. 11, 2020, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County. Mr. Elliott was disabled. He was an avid herbalist, mushroom hunter and dog lover, and enjoyed tinkering with anything that had a motor in it. Born in Festus, he was the son of the late Ernest E. and Mary (Arnold) Elliott.
He is survived by two sisters: Beverly Baker of California and Ramona L. (Benney) Robinson of Richwoods; a nephew: Trevor Baker of California; four nieces: Trina and Tina Baker of California, Amy (Paul) Farmer of Barnhart and Jennifer Kurschinske of Ironton; five great-nephews; two great-nieces; and his longtime friend: Danise Clay of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by his beloved pit bull, Kilo.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, Oct. 11, in Richwoods, Arrangements were under the direction of Michel Funeral Home in St. Louis.
