Sarah Jeanne (Baugher) Alexander, 74, of Arnold died March 13, 2022, after a long battle with lung cancer. Mrs. Alexander was a homemaker for many years, then worked in packaging at KV Pharmaceuticals in St. Louis until retirement. She was a member of the Meramec Arnold Eagles Auxiliary and the Meramec Arnold Elks Lodge. She enjoyed dancing, watching her grandkids’ sporting events and spending time with family and friends. Born July 9, 1947, in Marissa, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Helen (Baker) Baugher.
She is survived by two sons: David “Scott” (Lisa) Siebert of Nixa and Steven W. (Wendy) Siebert of Festus; a brother: Robert Baugher of Marissa, Ill.; a sister: Janet (the late Jay) Myers of Spencer, Iowa; six grandchildren: Michelle, Michael, Payton, Paige, Abby and Mason; many other family members and friends; and her pet: Maggie.
A graveside ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 23, at Oddfellows Cemetery in Sullivan, officiated by Pastor John Blackmore. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Eaton Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Sullivan.
