Sandra L. “Sandy” Stewart, 75, of De Soto died July 12, 2021, in De Soto. Mrs. Stewart was a retired office secretary at Vineland Elementary School in De Soto. She was a member of First Baptist Church of De Soto. Born March 9, 1946, in De Soto, she was the daughter of the late Stanley F. “Dink” and Audrey L. (Hensley) Dugan.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years: Ronald J. Stewart of De Soto; four children: Rebecca (Dan) Hoffee of De Soto, Rhonda (Anthony) Lawson of De Soto, Donald (Shawna) Stewart of Fenton and Bryan (Andrew) Stewart of St. Louis; a sibling: Fran Hayes of De Soto; and three grandchildren: Andersen (Lee) Rufkahr, Natalie Hoffee and Samuel Lawson.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday (July 15) at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday (July 16) at the funeral home with the Rev. Gene Smith officiating. Memorials may be made to Dragon Seat Drive, c/o the De Soto School District, 610 Vineland School Road, in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
