Sandra L. Martin, 67, of De Soto died March 27, 2020, at her home in hospice care. Mrs. Martin was a retired nurse. She was an avid equestrian and loved riding with her friends and neighbors. She also was an active member of the Jefferson County Women Dems Club. Born Oct. 5, 1952, in Chicago, she was the daughter of the late Marge (Donaldson) and Richard Martin.
She was survived by her husband of 26 years: Jim Ward of De Soto; three step-children: Steven Ward, Emily (Ward) Miller and Leslie Ward, all of St. Louis; two siblings: David Martin and Debbie Meyer, both of Chicago; and two grandchildren: Peter and Walter, both of St. Louis.
