Sandra L. Leahart, 71, of Hillsboro died Aug. 18, 2017, in Hillsboro. Mrs. Leahart was a longtime real estate agent and broker. Born March 19, 1946, in Lincoln, Neb., she was the daughter of the late Ruby (Lebbs) Atkins and Frank Otto. She was preceded in death by her husband: Henry Leahart.
She is survived by two sons: Jeff Ruckenbrod and Scott (Kraig Smith) Tipton, both of St. Louis; a daughter: Lori (Ken Alshanski) Stephens of Hillsboro; three granddaughters: Jessica (Matt) Tharp of St. Louis, Maggie Ruckenbrod of Cincinnati and Kara Stephens of Hillsboro; two grandsons: David Ruckenbrod of St. Louis and Scott Stephens of Hillsboro; two brothers: Rick and George (Sheila) Otto, both of St. Louis; two sisters: Dorrie (Stan) LeRoy of Fenton and Jolene (Jim) Daum of St. Louis; and many other grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Alan Otto; and a sister-in-law: Mary Otto.
A memorial gathering will be planned at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert D. Brown Funeral Home, Hillsboro.
